What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

About TEDxPIEAS
TEDxPIEAS is an independently organized TED event bringing together the brightest minds at Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) and beyond. Our mission is to create a platform where innovative ideas, groundbreaking research, and inspiring stories converge.
Located in Islamabad, Pakistan, PIEAS is renowned for its excellence in engineering, applied sciences, and technology. Our TEDx event reflects this spirit of innovation and academic excellence, featuring speakers from diverse fields including science, technology, arts, and social impact.
